Description
The Digital Humanities Center (DHC) is a dedicated space for SJSU and the San Jose City communities to explore and engage in digital humanities. The DHC may be requested by any SJSU and SJPL Library employee with an active SJSUOne account/Tower ID or SJPL Library Card. Requests should align with the mission of the Digital Humanities Center. The DHC is not available for standing or recurring meetings, regularly scheduled class sessions, fundraising events, or recurring events and series.
The DHC can be set up in either theater or classroom style to comply with ADA and Fire Marshall requirements. This room can seat up to 40 people in Theater style or 24-35 in Classroom style (please see room layouts). The room must be set up by the requestor, chairs and tables are available for setup in the room.
Equipment in the space includes 2 double-sided whiteboard easels, 2 modular whiteboard tables, and a 75-inch screen with HDMI cable. Tech-support is self service. Media Services (A/V) support is not available at this time. Please plan to bring your own technical equipment, support, and meeting supplies.
